The Millbrae Lions Club and City of Millbrae annually hosts a unique opportunity for youths to learn and interact with the city government.
Education and Experience
Participants attend a council meeting and sit next to the Mayor and other council members. Participants will shadow city staff and learn about the different city jobs, such as City Manager, Police Chief, or Fire Chief to name a few. In the end, the participant will learn how a city functions and how public policy is created.
